Records may be missing, damaged, inaccessible, inconsistent or recorded under unexpected names and places.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The absence of a record is not automatically proof that an event, person or relationship did not exist.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Names, Dates and Places<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Names and place names may appear in different languages, scripts, spellings or administrative contexts. Dates may be approximate, converted between calendars or inferred from related evidence.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A possible identification must not be presented as documented fact unless the evidence supports that treatment.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Findings and Interpretation<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Conclusions reflect the evidence available within the agreed project scope. Findings may be classified internally as documented, supported, probable, possible or unresolved.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">New material may change an interpretation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ottoman Research does not guarantee that a particular ancestor, record, relationship, document or historical outcome will be found.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Translation and Document Work<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Transcription, transliteration, translation and handwriting interpretation may require linguistic, textual and historical judgement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Damaged, abbreviated, unclear or context-dependent text may require a qualified reading. Translation does not remove every uncertainty present in the source.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Formal or certified translation is not part of the normal service unless separately confirmed in writing.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Inheritance, Heirship and Property<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Historical research may investigate family relationships, succession evidence, archival property documents and historical context.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It does not provide:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>legal advice;<\/li><li>probate determination;<\/li><li>legal-heir certification;<\/li><li>present ownership determination;<\/li><li>property entitlement advice; or<\/li><li>legal title opinions.<\/li><\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Advice on current legal rights should be obtained from an appropriately qualified professional.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Citizenship and Immigration<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ottoman Research does not determine citizenship, nationality, visa or immigration eligibility.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Historical research may help a client understand records but does not establish a legal entitlement.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Provenance and Objects<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Historical provenance research may investigate documentary history, ownership context and associations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is not a financial valuation, appraisal, guarantee of authenticity, ownership adjudication or legal title opinion.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Journal Content<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Research Journal articles provide general historical and methodological information.
